Day 1: Cairo

Arrival at Cairo Airport. Meet assistance & transfer to the hotel for check-in & over night stay.

Day 2: Cairo- Giza

Following breakfast, we leave the hotel to visit The Great Pyramids of Giza (circa. 2,500 B.C.) of Egyptian kings Khufu (in Greek, Cheops) Khafrà (in Greek, Chephren) and Menkaurà (in Greek, Mykerinos) and the Sphinx. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and then continue onwards to visit both the Egyptian museum and the traditional bazaar of Khan-El-Khalili. Dinner at a local restaurant then we return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Cairo – Marsa Matrouh – Seiwah

Following breakfast, we depart for Seiwah. We will stop in Marsa Matrouh & will have lunch. We will arrive in Seiwah in the early evening. We will have dinner and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Seiwah

Following breakfast, we will visit Shali (Old Seiwah), the Oracle Temple of Alexander the Great (circa. 332 A.D) & the Cleopatra Spring. Following lunch, we travel to visit Amoun Temple & enjoy a walking city tour. Following the tour, we return for dinner and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Seiwah

Following breakfast, we visit the Mount of Death where we will visit three tombs (circa. 500 B.C) which were also used in Roman times. Thereafter, we proceed to the desert expanse of Beer Wahid where we will have an authentic BBQ lunch. We will then return to our hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 6: Seiwah – Bahareya

Following an early breakfast, we leave Seiwah driving through the heart of the desert to Bahareya, a distance of 400 km. On this drive, we will experience fantastic desert landscape and stop to enjoy incredible desert scenes including the Great Sea of Sands, Albahrain, Setra and Alnawamis. We will have lunch and continue onwards to Bahareya. We will arrive later that evening, will have dinner and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Bahareya

Following breakfast, we visit the two ancient tombs in Bahareya (circa. 500 B.C) which were also used in Roman times. We will visit the Mummies museum and then travel further to enjoy the magnificent splendor of the desert; first, we will see the Black desert and Agabat desert, and then the White desert where we will have lunch amidst the ethereal shapes of the rock landscape. We will stay in the desert until sunset and then return to Bahareya. We will have dinner and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 8:Bahareya – Cairo

Following breakfast, we return to Cairo. On arrival, we will have lunch at a local restaurant & then go to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser (2,700 B.C. designed by the great architect Imhoteb). We will also visit a form of Egyptian tombs called Mastaba. We will have dinner at a local restaurant & spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Cairo – Sharm El Sheikh

Following breakfast, we depart to Cairo Airport to fly to Sharm El Sheikh. On arrival, we will be met and transferred to the hotel; we will have the reminder of the day to relax.

Day 10: St. Catherine

Following early breakfast, we venture to the monastery of St. Catherine for a visit. Thereafter, we return to Sharm EL Sheikh and we will have free leisure time at the hotel.

Day 11: Sharm El Sheikh

We will have free leisure and relaxation time

Day 12: Sharm El Sheikh – Cairo

Following breakfast we depart to Sharm EL Sheikh Airport to fly to Cairo (60 min. flight). On arrival we will be met and transferred to the hotel. We will have free time in the afternoon. We will have dinner at a local restaurant and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Cairo – Wadi El Natroun – Alexandria – Cairo

Following breakfast, we travel to Wadi El Natroun and its old Monasteries. We then proceed to Alexandria. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and then continue to visit the Roman Amphitheatre and the Catacombs (the subterranean Roman cemetery). We will have a walking city tour and then return to Cairo. We will have dinner at a local restaurant and then return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14: Coptic Cairo

Following breakfast, we will visit old Coptic Cairo and see the Coptic museum. We will have lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we visit old Coptic churches (dating between 400 and 1,400 A.D.). We will have dinner at a local restaurant and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Cairo – Home

Hotel breakfast is followed by escort to Cairo International Airport for your scheduled return flight home.
